Beef Liver In Spicy Coconut Milk | Sambal Goreng Hati


Ingredients :

  • 500 g cow’s liver, cubed, fried
  • 100 g shrimps
  • 400 ml cream coconut milk
  • 30 parkia, sliced troughly
  • 1 tbsp sliced red chilies
  • 100 g green peas, sliced
  • 3 salam leaves / bay leaves
  • 3 tbsp oil

Spices :

  • 2 1/2 tbsp red chilies
  • 2 tbsp sliced shallots
  • 1 tbsp sliced garlic
  • 1 tsp sliced galangal
  • 1 tsp shrimp paste
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp sugar

How to make :

  1. Blend all spices into a paste.
  2. Saute the paste and salam leaves over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimps and cow’s liver, stir fry.
  4. Pour coconut milk, parkia, green peas, and red chilies.
  5. Bring to boil until cooked and thick, stirring well.
  6. Serve in a serving dish.
