Cup Cakes In Banana Leaves | Kue Popaco


Ingredients :

  • 4 egss
  • 150 g sugar
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 1500 ml coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 500 g brown sugar, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 young coconut milk, shredded
  • 200 g canaries, chopped
  • 30 pandanus leaves to make cups
  • 600 ml coconut milk
  • 10 corn flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pandan leaf

How to make :

  1. In a bowl beat together sugar and eggs until firm. Add wheat flour, vanilla, and coconut milk, mix until smooth.
  2. Add brown sugar and salt, stir until well blended, set aside.
  3. Make cups from pandanus leaves. Put shredded coconut and canaries in the cups, pour the batter 2/3 of the cup.
  4. Put in a steamer and steam for 15 minutes, sllow to cool.
  5. Arrange in a serving dish and serve.
