Minced Beef Wrapped In Banana Leaves | Gadon Daging


Ingredients:

  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 egg
  • 150 ml cream coconut milk
  • 6 banana leaf-cups

Spices:

  • 1 tbsp sliced garlic
  • 2 tbsp sliced shallots
  • 4 candlenuts
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 kaffir lime leaf
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

How to make:

  1. In a bowl, mix beef and egg, add coconut milk, set aside.
  2. Blend all spices into a paste, then add to the beef mixture, stir thoroughly.
  3. Pour the mixture into each banana leaf-cup, fill-up until 1/2 part.
  4. Steam over medium heat about 30 minutes and turn off the heat.
  5. Arrange on a serving dish and serve.
