Shrimp Paste Fried Chicken | Ayam Goreng Terasi
Ingredients:
- 8 Chicken Drumstick
- 1 Pandan leaf
- 1 tbs fish gravy
- 200 ml water
- 250 ml oil for fry
Finely Pounded Spices into Paste:
- 3 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp fried shrimp paste
- 2 cm turmeric
- 2 cm ginger
- 1 tbs coriander
- 2 Javanese tamarind
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sliced Javanesse sugar
How To:
- Bring water to boiling point, add spices paste, pandan leaf and fish gravy.
- Add drumstick, bring to small heat untill drained.
- Let the chicken cool.
- Heat the oil, fried chicken untill golden brown.
Tips: After adding chicken to the boiling water, it must be turn to very small heat to make spices mix well with the drumstick. Wait untill chicken cool before frying.
