Squid Sambal | Sambal Cumi


Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 kaffir lime leaf
  • 1 salam leaf
  • 250 gr medium squid, cleaned, sliced
  • 250 ml coconut milk
  • 1 tbs lime squash

Finely Pounded Spices Into Paste:

  • 6 shallots
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp sliced small chilli
  • 1 tsp sliced lemongrass
  • 1/2 tsp fried shrimp paste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

How To:

  • Saute all spices paste untill fragrant.
  • add tomato, kaffir lime leaf and salam leaf. Stir until all mixed and tender.
  • add squid, stir until hard form.
  • Pour coconut milk, lime squash and cook with small heat until thickened.
  • served hot.
